HCPL-5201 #300 by HP in stock and available for sale!

Oxygen Electronics has stock on HP part number HCPL5201#300 by HP.   We have noticed over the past couple of years that there has been significant confusion with this part number as the #300 which is often overlooked on this part number calls out the surface mout version of this part.  The part without the 300 ending is a DIP package.  The product that we have in stock is the surface mount and is dual marked with 5962-8876801XA.   If you are planning on ordering either version of this part please be very careful.

Allocated Vishay Product Availalbe

Oxygen Electronics has recently been made aware of shortages and/or allocation on INterference Suppression Film Capacitors which are currently being manufacturerd by Vishay.  Vishay purchased the product line from BC Components which was a divesture of Philips.  Older components are branded with Philips, while more recent production lots are branded with BC Components and Vishay.   This product is the MKP Radial Potted Type.
